I didn’t mean to leave my blog hanging out there for 11 months to gather virtual dust bunnies and cobwebs… really, I didn’t! Every new project that came up throughout 2014, I thought “I should blog about that…” but never made time for it… But I think that’s a good thing. Why? Because it gave me nearly a year of “research” and self-discovery, to discover artists and entrepreneurs who inspire me… To read about their own processes and how they overcome creative obstacles… To create new projects to freshen up my portfolio with some favorite clients and new ones too… To create communities in social-media-land to connect, encourage and inspire one another (you guys rock!!)… Setting goals, plans, and endeavors… Collaborating and creating… Nudging and pushing and sometimes resisting (and for that, a big ol’ fat “You were right!” to my girl Emily for pushing me through a lot of that resistance!), no matter how daunting it may seem…
So now I present to you (after learning another new digital platform), the new and improved DoodleSwirl. If you’re new here, welcome! If you’ve joined me from my old site, welcome back! I’m so excited about the potential 2015 holds for my creative business and tribe, and look forward to sharing in those endeavors with you on this blog. And you have permission to hold me to it and not let me slack off.
Feel free to leave me a note below about what you’ve been up to in 2014 or share what goals do you have for 2015?
I’m looking forward to growing creatively with you in 2015!
