It’s Pumpkin Doodling Season! There are so many fun things I want to share all in one post (including some very interesting takes on creativity and spirituality, but I’ll save those for another day!) Today, it’s pumpkins and hats! Last week I had fun evening with a great bunch of ladies for our Fall picnic. We ate, we laughed, we doodled pumpkins. It was great! Before I headed out with the grown-ups, I had to get some doodle time in with my girl.
Our family hasn’t seemed to find time yet for carving our big pumpkins outside, but my Little Bird and I have carved some time for pumpkin doodles.
We went out to the pumpkin patch and picked out some cute little baby pumpkins. We used the white Sakura Pen-Touch paint pen again and just a regular permanent fine-tip maker.
Then we concentrated really hard and just doodled away until we were happy with what we have.
Which, she wasn’t. So I grabbed a bottle of DecoArt Americana acrylic black paint. This stuff is great for all kinds of projects and super affordable, so it’s easy to keep a stash on hand. (Plus it washes off of little hands really easily!)
It’s a cute, quick little Fall centerpiece.
Look what’s ready for the shop! I’ve added 5 hats to the shop ready to keep you a little warmer on your Fall hikes or cheering on your little league MVP’s!
There are only 5 right now, but I have another set on the way. I’m open to special requests, so if you have a specific color in mind, let me know below in the comments and I’ll do my best to add some more variety in the shop in time for your Christmas shopping!
Go get yours at Etsy.com/shop/doodleswirl
What have you been up to recently? I’d love to hear from you!
*None of the brands mentioned in this blog know me or paid me to say nice things. I just really like their stuff!
